A trip to Magic World in Hyères
Thrill-seekers will be delighted to learn that they can count on activities other than water sports to give them a thrill during their stay near the Mediterranean. As it does every summer, Hyères is home to Magic World, an amusement park offering something for everyone. Let’s go for a ride!
Magic World attractions
There’s something for everyone at Magic World, with no fewer than 40 attractions for children, adults and teenagers to discover not far from the campsite. On the programme: children’s rides, slides and fluff machines for the little ones, and thrill rides of all kinds for the more adventurous. Whether it’s Crazy Jump, Banzai or Cobra, the bravest will enjoy hurtling down the rails of the rides at top speed, getting drenched at the turn of an attraction or being shaken in all directions. But the park doesn’t neglect holidaymakers who prefer to keep their feet on the ground, and a host of more classic attractions such as the traditional bumper cars, rifle shooting and other games of skill might just win you a few prizes and take away some nice memories of your camping vacation in the Var. For all those who like to have fun scaring themselves, don’t miss the ghost train to give yourself a few scares during your visit to the park.
Magic World entertainment
Every Friday night, it’s party time at Magic World! The “Fridays of Follies” program includes a Tahitian evening on August 9, a French Cancan evening on August 16, a special Johnny Halliday evening with Christian Gil (the singer’s vocal double) on August 23, and a 100% American evening on August 30. The next day, August 31, is closing night. Of course, the theme park will be taking advantage of the occasion to organize a wonderful closing evening full of surprises, a chance to go out with a bang before returning in a few months’ time for the next season…
Magic World in practice
Would you like to take a trip to Magic World during your camping holiday near Hyères? The theme park is located near the port of Hyères, 15 kilometers from the campsite. It features a restaurant and several typical fairground food stalls, including sweets, cotton candy and pastries.
