Toulon is home to the largest French military port. Here you can find eclectic landscapes: typical hills of the Var, historic and artistic city center and much more. It is the third largest city in our region Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur. You will find there all the services and attractions that a large agglomeration offers. About 10 kilometers from the campsite, it is possible to take one of the Reseau Mistral's bus. You can simply take the bus 39 or 23 (if you want to go through the Mourillon) from the stop of the "Les 4 Saisons", just one kilometer away from the campsite.
Opera, theaters, cinema: all cultural structures are in Toulon and much more. You can find the list of different cultural events at the tourism office of Toulon, which can also provide the documentation you need during your visit.
You can discover the beautiful artistic heritage of Toulon as the different statues, fountains and monuments that abound in the city: the Statue of the Genius of Navigation, The Atlanteans, The Boat Sculpture, the monumental Porte de l'Arsenal, the various churches and squares , the famous statue of the Raimu card party, Fort Saint-Louis ...
Toulon is also sport addicted and here it hosts the Stade Mayol, house of the local Rugby team RCT. A good idea to get in the mood: book a place to see the teams play, it's worth the trip!

Ferries to Corsica depart from the Port of Toulon. Thus, our campsite welcomes every year hundreds of vacationers in motorhomes who wish to go to Corsica. Departures are early in the morning or late at night, do not hesitate to inform us about your trip or make a booking to leave with peace of mind and rest before your departure or when you return. From the campsite, just go through Le Mourillon, then direction Le Port to quietly wait for your ferry.
At the Port, you may also have the chance to admire our military boats or cruises, as well as old boats that sometimes pass by us. It is also possible to go on a boat trip with the Batelier de La Rade who will make you discover the coast of the peninsula of Saint-Mandrier fortifications that border the bay.
In Toulon, there are also beaches! The Mourillon, the Méjean and Magaud cove and the small creeks welcome you. Put on the fins and put on the snorkels, you will be able to observe the Sars and Saupes that are swimming peacefully in the waters of the region.
At the Navy Museum, you can contemplate the Memories of the French Navy with models of ships and old documents that will shed some light on our history.
You can climb Mount Faro with a cable car to enjoy a magnificent panorama of the bay and the city of Toulon. During the summer season, events are held at the top which is a perfect place to enjoy the scenery: fireworks, festivals or night stars are ideal opportunities. It is advisable to book and inquire about the weather, the strong wind can forbid the use of the cable car.
The parks and gardens of Toulon and the coastal path are very pleasant places for a walk, why not enjoy it?
In Toulon you will find many shops and restaurants. The rue des Arts, recently renovated, is full of restaurants, exhibitions and shops for a stroll.
Every day or almost, markets are held including the course market Lafayette sung by our French local singer Gilbert Bécaud. It is the perfect opportunity to bring souvenirs or local produces to cook a piece of Provence.
