The village of Sanary-sur-mer, located west of the city of Toulon, along the coast, is ideal to offer a typical Provençal getaway. Easily accessible from the campsite thanks to the tunnel under Toulon, in about twenty minutes by car, you will be able to discover all its splendors.
A stroll along the quays, where you can, in the morning in good weather, find the fishermen bosses selling their catch of the day. On the menu sea bream, red mullet and scorpion fish for your grilled fish and soups.
It is lovely to walk in the pedestrian streets of the city center, where you will find many art galleries, various shops and restaurants. You will enjoy if you want to go shopping in our beautiful department of the var.
Facing the sea, near the port of Sanary you will find the Romanesque Tower, home to the Frederic Dumas diving museum with many objects concerning the history of autonomous scuba diving or Cousteau, Dumas and many more.
